I pondered as to whether I should just mention it, put out the 'zine a month early, plug Hillary Rodham Clinton or what.  I even thought about who I should pay tribute to that wasn't a celebrity or someone who put a twist on 'the end justifies the means' when it came to women's enpowerment.  So like everything else in recent, I went with my gut and did a collage of women in non-traditional positions. 

Notice I did NOT have us doing the following -

• Domestic Work (Paid or Not)
• Shopping
• Being Happy, Glamorous or Posing

It's not that I have anything against us doing these things, it's just that men have their own cooking shows and nobody thinks twice but a woman who knows her way around Home Depot gets almost no attention.  Anyhoo, I included the waitress because I learned from last month's issue of BUST that you can make a career out of this (and good $) if you are smart, take care of your body and have thick skin.
