Damn, Another Bookstore, R.I.P.

I'm late with this update but in case you missed it, Portland women's bookstore In Other Words, was experiencing some financial turbulence late last year.  They have since rebounded in an economic climate that has shrunk Rolling Stone almost to the size of a pamphlet and sent others to magazine heaven.  So let's show them some love for having the cahoots to fight!

Over the weekend, the L.A.Times reported that GLBT bookstore, A Different Light will be closing their West Hollywood location.  Their San Francisco and online stores will remain open. If you go to their website, there are some pretty powerful images on the homepage.  We love alternative lifestyles but being this is a woman's interest site, I think it's only fair to warn before clicking the link.
