Fire Your Landlord, Girl!
True story as to why you should buy a home .
Not long ago, I told the person I'm renting from that I would like a security door for the front part of the house because shady people come by "selling" things and are less-than-polite when you tell them you'll pass. Plus, the weather is getting warm and it may be cheaper than an air conditioner. His response was to give me a 'No Solicitation' sticker to put on my door!
What a piece of work.
Anyway, even if you are self-employed , have credit issues (something that came with getting my business off the ground) or only have a few dollars to put towards a down payment , talk to someone anyway. With a little information, you'll be surprised how much it easier it is in the long run like not dealing with landlord restrictions or is a borderline slumlord.
If you continue to pay rent, you may be sorry....I'm just saying.
